लेकिन बरखा दत्त की इस हरकत से देशवासियों का गुस्सा भड़क गया है। लोगों का सवाल है कि आखिर बरखा दत्त को कोविड आईसीयू में रिपोर्टिंग की अनुमति क्यों दी गई। ट्वीटर पर जमकर लोगों ने बरखा की एजेंडा जर्नलिज्म के खिलाफ अपनी भड़ास निकाली है।

Today I lost my friend admitted to an ICU in Gurgoan, his wife was not even allowed to see him even from a distance for the one last time.
